My project, "Squares within Squares", portrays a fascinating illusion. The illusion that it creates makes each inner square appear further away than the squares outside of it. The illusion is made by using one point perspective where all the squares edges line up to meet at a point.
I drew several geometric shapes with similar shapes inside to create a swirling illusion within the shape. A new skill I used was creating a swirl by only using straight lines. An art element that I used was negative space to add emphasis to the shapes. The element and skill that I used made my drawing easy to look at and more interesting.
